How to delete your Sojiwa account and data

You can delete your account yourself in the Android app or the web app (app.sojiwa.com). Here is how it works and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account
Open Sojiwa (the Android app or app.sojiwa.com) and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
We email a 6-digit code to your account email address. Enter it to confirm that it is you.
You are signed out on all devices straight away, and your account is scheduled for deletion.
You have 30 days to change your mind

For 30 days you can restore your account by signing in again. After that, your account and the data linked to it are permanently deleted or anonymised and cannot be recovered. Remaining tokens, including purchased ones, are lost and not refunded.

What is deleted
What we keep

We keep token purchase records, token history, redemption history and records of reports. They are kept without your name or IP address, where we need them for accounting, refund disputes, fraud prevention or legal reasons. Payments processed by Google Play or Stripe are also kept by those providers under their own policies.

Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request", and we will help you.
